class=\"fontstyle2\">Malgr\u00e9 les embruns, le pouvoir des niches et cette note bleue qui parfois se cherche d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9ment, l\u2019espoir cr\u00e9atif est toujours bien pr\u00e9sent. \u00c0 preuve, cette nouveaut\u00e9, tout en douceur de la jeune saxophoniste t\u00e9nor <\/span><strong><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Chantal de Villiers.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Vous aimez le jazz un peu, beaucoup, passionn\u00e9ment ou \u00e0 la folie, eh bien, ce petit bijou tombera certainement entre vos mains. De son jeu qui \u00e9voque in\u00e9vitablement Stan Getz, Lester Young avec un brin du regrett\u00e9 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Barney Wilen<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">, <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Chantal de Villiers a v\u00e9ritablement hauss\u00e9 la barre, si nous faisons une comparaison avec son premier essai.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Un dialogue avec des pianistes<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle2\">L\u2019absence de soutien rythmique est compens\u00e9e par la force des pianistes, et pas des moindres. Au fil des plages, nous retrouvons la patte de <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Taurey Butler, <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">interpr\u00e8te capiteux pour qui le swing est inscrit au c\u0153ur de son jeu, <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Fran\u00e7ois Bourassa <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">dont la finesse s\u2019exprime avec une clart\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9reuse dans l\u2019immense <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">I Love You Porgy, <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">puis le v\u00e9t\u00e9ran et papa de l\u2019interpr\u00e8te : <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Burt de Villiers<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">. Oscillant entre le swing des beaux jours et les accents po\u00e9tiques, la saxophoniste exprime la simplicit\u00e9, la tendresse, avec ce je ne sais quoi d\u2019\u00e9mouvant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Soyons heureux, le talent est encore bien pr\u00e9sent. <\/span><\/strong>~<em> Le Journal de Montr\u00e9al &#8211; par
